Tossing up either 55" or 60". Distance from sitting on the couch to the WALL on which the TV will go is approximately 230cm.
What would be the options? Happy to wait a bit (if needed) for TVs to go on sale.
Best 55-60" TV under $1500 ??

Isn't there the same recommendation for things like consoles too? Vr is obviously more serious business though
Its the same for almost all tech if not all. Specially for the little ones.
Sorry not going with the Occulus Rift
Personally I'm going for the absolute cheapest as I want to spend the savings elsewhere (a new pc or laptop and Thai food haha lol).

I was gonna jump on this but then 4k @ 30hz or frames per second kills it for me.
I plan to watch a bunch of content at 4k @ 60 fps so am looking out waiting for one of that.. if i can score one with low or tolerable input lag then win win.
Don't need smart features as my other devices will be handling that just the large screen.
Wish I got one of the 65" aldi Bauhn ones now.. they were the cheapest 65" 4k tv's I have ever seen think it was something like $899 or something.. cheap.
2x Occulus Rift at $750 each and just watch the same movie at the same time with your girlfriend through them.
