Good question. Dash cams are a complicated breed. Check DashCamTalk forums for my boring reviews where I go into detail about chipsets, sensors and real video quality etc.
Sweet I shall check that forum indeed fine sir…. I knew they were complicated but 30,000 members wow!
You are a fine cat yourself for taking the time to do some proper research :).
@adrianhughes1998: Thoughts on front and rear dashcams?
Or do you have a link to a a decent discussion about this?@Rorschach: I have two in my car. You can get kits like a Blackvue but honestly you're going to get better cameras and quality if you just buy two separate 1080p or higher ones.
I have a Viofo A119 in the front and Chupad D501 in the rear. Have a Viofo A118C2 on the side too
@adrianhughes1998: Thanks!
@Rorschach: not a problem, also have a look at CarCamCentral YouTube channel and watch his videos for comparisons. Very informative actually.
This is often cited as the best dual camera dash cam. Highly recommended if you want in car footage on top of regular footage, e.g. Uber drivers.
Underrated bargain.
Looking for a dash camera, how does this compare with Blackvue DR650S-2CH?
You can check out the video quality on YouTube.
what am I looking at here?
