  • I ain't even mad. The page loaded for me when the promotion ended.

  • +2

Was supposed to go for a run today but saw this post and now instead of losing calories, I'm ingesting more in the form of a Chicken and Camembert pizza :P

  • I don't know if someone mentioned this already, for people who forgot to write down code, just go to http://woobox.com/2oc2cy and you will get your code and can email it.

    Ozbargained

  • +1

Picking up my pizza. We did it gang.

  • Says deal has ended for me. Grrrr.

  • +7

Chef's Best replaced by a $16 pizza… To soften the blow they run a BS media campaign where their FB site crashes… More negative media and annoyed customers the end result.

    • +2

If you pay $16 for a pizza you are not an ozbargaineer.

  • +2

Got a code through the mobile link. Thanks mate, was worth the initial angst. Will enjoy this pizza

  • +2

Negging because, even though I filled in the form, clicked through and the next page loaded I got nothing at all. No code, no email, nothing.

    Wasted half an hour.

Sorry hamza, I think that's my second or third neg in 5 years of OzB

    • Your code would still be there…. Somewhere.

      • +1

        Except it isn't.

        • It is at the very bottom of that form. To should manually email it. You may be able to recover that congratulatory banner in your browser history?

  • To those lucky ones, you can make orders w/o any payment on the mobile web order page. Not sure if it works for everyone, tho.

  • At least they achieved what they were after Publicity!!!!

Managed to get the code to work using this link -> http://woobox.com/2oc2cy

Got the pizza, ate a couple of slices with my kids and then found a piece of glass underneath one slice. WTF! Was grey, blurry (from being baked?) and sort of pizza shaped (sharp triangle and curved edge).

Took a picture of it, and called the store manager who said nothing was broken in their kitchen recently and asked me to bring it back.

Brought it back to the store and he offered me a refund ($0!). Gave him the remaining pizza with the glass piece in the box and got them to make us a replacement Hawaiian to put in the kid's lunchboxes tomorrow (after we check for more glass first!).

    • Guys…I ate too much pizza… :(

  • Was trying on the on a desktop and mobile for 25 minutes and was still unable to get a code.

  • +5

To all those who missed out: try the obvious and send Dominos a polite message on Facebook explaining your attempts to claim a free pizza. I did, and they replied with a code for a free pizza. Problem solved.

    • Had a quick look at FB comments - especially replys. Many are being ridiculed on Facebook for stating the obvious about this promotion & their disappointment of missing out. That's too high a price for the possibility of a free pizza.

      • +3

        Message them directly, don't comment.

    • Thanks, got sent a code. 😀

    • -2

Thanks, Sent message and got one for myself and for wife too.. Dinner sorted :)

  • -4

So the $22 min spend is still applicable or not?

    • Only for delivery.

      • -2

Ok, so free pizza (pickup only)

    • Why neg my comment? It was a legit gripe. Nowhere on the Facebook page or website was it expressed that the promotion was only available to desktop users.

So some people wasted hours trying to get something to load on a platform it wasn't available on.

"Your vote has been revoked"… Ozbargain? moar like ozcensored.

I admin eight pages on Facebook (not my job, for fun) and this was poor. Should've been a post link to an external site.

      • give it a rest

  • +2

The pain we will go through for a $10 pizza.

  • +1

nom nom just eating it now, good pizza, not a $10 pizza it was supposed to be $13.90

    • +2

Still a good deal, but what kind of ozbargainer pays full price for fkin dominos lel?

      • You don't pay full price but you certainly state what the full price is - makes the saving seem greater :D

  • -2

well there are 10001 free pizzas out there and also a lot of butthurt of people missing out, was going to be me too if I didnt keep trying, thats life, Nothing is free….

  • Anyone know how to use the free pizza code I can't make it work on either the app or the mobile page frowning face :-( :-(

    • I just used it and upgraded to the edge crust at no cost cost per the other deal. Just enter the voucher number?

Note may only be valid for the premium pizzas ($16.95)?

      • On the web site or the app??

        • Sorry it was on the website via my mobile phone (so mobile website)

And I ate the whole pizza myself!

        • Enter the voucher code fist and then add from the available premium pizzas. Adding the pizza first might be the issue you are having.

  • Spent an hour trying and got my partner to try as well, all to no avail.

    • Same… I was on till 6pm!

  • Website didn't even load for me as I was trying to claim it….

  • +2

Got to say enjoyed the loaded supreme with edge crust. Tasted a lot better than the usual. Cheers dominos, hamza, jamiea and stealthzor :)

  • +1

This is what Domino's considers a "loaded supreme" with edge crust.. not much topping at all and missing the spring onions and sauce.. I would be livid if I paid anywhere near $16.90 for it.. glad it was free. Taste was no different to regular supreme except it had more cheese..

    • my local dominos goes skimpy on the toppings too, particularly meat. when i go to complain, they say that its 'standard practice'. Saw the ad about how complaints hurt them, so messaged them on facebook saying I was disappointed with the pizza and they got back to me with a code for a free traditional pizza and garlic bread

      • +1

Not acceptable for one of their 'premium' pizzas which is supposed to be "loaded" with toppings. Messaged them on Twitter and they were no help, not sure I can be bothered to call the store, I hadn't ordered from them in over a year because they never got anything right, nothing seems to have changed.

  • +1

Just got my Grand Italian with free Edge crust last night, many thanks to Hamza and Neil.

I didn't like their Loaded Supreme but the Grand Italian I ordered was the best pizza I've had from Dominos.

This thing was as heavy as two pizzas and loaded with topping, normally don't like heaps of topping but this was tasty.

I just hope the staff didn't spit in it because it was free.

    • Would have thought you would have loved the staff selected extra topping ;-)

Had the Grand Italian with free Edge crust last night - so heavy, so much cheese 🧀 Didn't sleep well 😴

    • I had the grand Italian as well and even the girl who made it said it was amazing. Definitely would buy these pizzas at a discounted price, not full price however.

  • Ordered mine today. It was goood

  • +1

I just went to order and realised that there's almost an entire days worth of calories in one of these pizzas. I'll PM my voucher code to someone that replies to this thread with a good reason I should give it to them.

    • I like pizza

      • +5

Good enough for me. Check your PMs

        • Wow Thankyou!

  • Thanks OP. Smaller and less toppings. Interesting that they thought it was a good marketing campaign to try and let you know that before you buy the next one! Perhaps I should have had it with the edge crust night before. Still delish though.

  • Also got a code that I can't use - comment and ill send it to you ;)

    • Can I grab pls.
