  OP, you know what your most tempting soaps are. nobody minds you adding 20 or 30 example bargains. It's only a few minutes of copy-and-paste.

  As an Ozbargainer and a soap maker, I am not really impressed.

  80% coconut oil and 20% sunflower oil honestly is not a nice blend. Of course the soap bubbles nicely with that amount of coconut oil. Coconut oil=bubbles. Sunflower oil=conditioning. IME way too much coconut oil unless you want to impress your aunt with a frothy bar, but this much would be too drying to your skin.

  If people are true ozbargainers, they would buy coconut oil (~$10/kg), some renewable palm oil ($8/kg), some olive oil from Colesworth when it's on sale ($5/L) and some canola oil ($2/kg) and some sodium hydroxide for around $5/500g. Whip together a cheap improv mold. Buy a cheap stick blender for $15. Whip together 1kg of soap for about $6-8. Add a bit more for nice smelling stuff and a tiny bit more for colouring. Or be hardcore and make castile soap (100% olive oil) and watch people get confused as their super soft bar of soap produces no lather.

    Off-topic: What are some good soap brands? I prefer soap to liquid body wash because I feel cleaner using soap. I'm not actually sure whether the cleaning power is better or not, but it certainly makes me feel better. Also, I really like charcoal or coal tar soap. Are they better than regular soap?
