    We do charge Credit Card/Paypal surcharge

    That violates the user agreement you have signed up for with PayPal

      Hi Dosada,

      Not sure where you got your PayPal Police badge from but there is no such agreemement breach. PayPal ask that we don’t charge PayPal fees but this is simply to encourage people to use their service. In fact they actively state that they have guidelines around in charging fees as below.

      No one believes us when we say this but we genuinely do not have enough profit margin in our prices to not on charge PayPal fees.

        Charging 2.5% for Visa payments seems expensive though. From next month onwards, it looks like small businesses like yourself can only oncharge your actual payment fees. The ACCC seems to be of the opinion that 1-1.5% is an acceptable range.           Hi Boz,

          Yeah we currently pay a high rate with PayPal as selling Mac online is a fraud magnet as you could imagine. We will be deciding whether we keep the PayPal on or not as we have had a lot of people feel the same way as you do and I don’t blame them.

          We are working with PayPal to get it down and if we do we will of course reduce the fees onto end user, if we can’t we will seek another payment merchant provider and pass on their fees accordingly.

      That's only on ebay. paypal surcharges are pretty common outisde ebay.

      Buy the 4K retina model. Definitely worth the extra $300. Screen will look so good and it will be much more powerful and futureproof

      Should start from purchase date as the products are still new. They're just "End of Life" aka discontinued, not used.

      Hi J,

      Office works will price match me (begrudgingly) but I won’t pricematch anyone else as 99% or the time we are cheapest and when we are not it is usually someone dumping stock or something weird going on.

      Other OzB’s have had success getting us price match at OW so if you find something you like and they also have it you could give it a whirl.

    Thanks just bought the 15" MBP 2.6ghz as my 2010 15" MBP was getting a bit long in the tooth. Hopefully this one lasts me another 7 years!

      Hope your are luckier than me. I paid for my 15" MBP last Saturday and they process my order this Tuesday, they provide with me the tracking No. 5 mins ago after I made 4-5 calls from yesterday, and the wired thing is: there is nothing about this tracking No. on the startrack's website!!!

        That's weird as mine said processing next day. Really hope it all goes well as would rather support a small business like these guys than Myer etc. Looks fine so far but will report back if they give me any grief.

        Regarding StarTrack sometimes you gotta call them up for tracking as their website sucks. Failing that can always message the rep directly through Ozbargain. Good luck.
