Pretty good price for a great game. If you have not already played it, here is your chance to do it on the cheap. Even the vanilla version offers an immense amount of gameplay so really this is a no brainer if you have not played it before.
Note: I am not a 100% sure that the price is in AUD but judging from previous deal and the fact it includes Australian GST I assume it is.

Yeah it's just the original version from 2011 without its respective DLC.
Awesome game! Tip for new players: For healing, hunt the chickens in towns to get food.
I bought it when it was $12 a year or so ago. Best purchase ever, at least 100 hours of gameplay. Only regret was not spending the extra $10 or so to get all the DLCs bundled with it.

People need to stop linking deals for this old skool non-DLC version. You can't use the good mods without DLC.
You need to stop thinking everybody thinks like you. I mostly play vanilla versions and so do all of my friends.
Not everybody wants mods or pay extra for DLC (or alternatively, buy an upgrade or buy an upgraded version).
Give people a choice - they can decide if they like it and want it. Not you, not I , not anybody else.
And if you do not like these deals, block them or do not look at them - problem solved for you.

Also that's pretty interesting that you intentionally only play vanilla versions of games. Did you play Diablo 2 original and avoid the throne of destruction xpac?
Yes. Only vanilla unless the key comes with add-on included. I never buy DLC. Either it is included or given to me by people who already have it and want it - then it is redeemed but I never play the DLC anyway, with the exception of the Borderlands games.
Skyrim is so vast - no need for DLC. I have played that on PS3 and it was perfectly fine without DLC and mods.
I did not and do not play Diablo at all buddy as there are plenty of games in the account which are waiting to be played and many are similar or better than Diablo (such TQ Anniversary Ed) But all games I play I play vanilla only.
Quite obviously you are quite young and do not understand that one does not require all DLCs to enjoy a game, apart from the fact that before Steam games already came properly and with all the content without the need to keep paying.
If I played all the games that are unplayed in my library and that I have on disc I would need to have to play several years non-stop. So Vanilla is fine for me.
Keep in mind, you are the one not wanting to give people a choice between vanilla and non-vanilla versions by getting rid of deals for vanilla versions.
For me it is fine to have a choice - people like you can choose not to buy vanilla versions, and people like me can get the much cheaper vanilla version (and then upgrade later for free!;-)).

FYI not everyone's PCs can run the special edition. The OG game has lesser system requirements and is no longer available to purchase on Steam. This may genuinely be the only way to play the game for some people.
I bought the original Skyrim cheap ages ago, haven't got around to playing it, been hoping for cheap DLC deals but since they announced special edition DLC won't go out cheap…
You can get legendary for like $13 from cdkeys.com - in the same boat bought the gamin vanilla one these skin boxes are so fond of so now just don't play it lol
