You can't use the smartphone app without the hub, so it must be included. If you scroll down on the product page, there are pictures of the hub.
Great remote, but just be aware that it does not have back-lit keys, a dedicated help button, or a screen.

I have been doing that, but the seller lists the item as "used but like new" unless this is another seller agin? Also tried to purchase off them as when I emailed them they said its factory sealed new but Amazon won't let them list it as new. But the shipping price was $130 AUD?! massive deal breaker.

@mshannon: thanks for the tip, I have now done that although camel camel appears to only be good at historical data, it is a little delayed in tracking prices.
I have an ozbargain reminder setup which is quite realiable, the issue this time was it sold out by the time I seen the email and then when stock come back I didn't get a new email because the original deal was edited instead of a new one being posted.

Will this work with a plain US to Aus power adapter? Or does it need to be converted to 110V?
The supplied adapter has a standard two prong US plug, but takes as input 100-240v AC and outputs 5.1v DC @ 1A.
A simple plug converter should do the trick.
