          In my experience it can be erratic. I've tried some of the tracking options and found that sometimes the problem is delays in China Post or shipping. On other occasions it's taken up to 3 weeks to get through AU customs once it's here in Australia. What I don't get is that the AU Customs delays don't seem to affect the priority line shipping to the same extent.

          @newdad: i always get the 7-15 day options and never had an issue. Have bought probably 40 things now in total just off GearBest.

          I live in Perth though so obviously my experience isn't representative of those around Australia or do those who live outside capital citi s.

          @newdad: It doesn't come in via post for Priority Line and according to UBI's website, the parcels are all pre-cleared with a "0.06% held ratio".

      I've had good experiences with "Priority Line - AU Express" shipping - much better for things you actually need. Recently on the 27th I purchased a Mi Band and it arrived yesterday, making that 6 business days (including the 2 days from SYD to my town via AusPost as usual).

      Cost was $2.39, very good value IMO given how slow their normal shipping can be. It's also tracked to your door (delivered as eParcel) as they use UBI, at least the few times I've used it. Between the speed and tracking, it's a great option for some slightly more important things.

        Can also vouch for priority lane. The 2-3 bucks for shipping is definitely worth it. I've used it a few times and the item has always gets to me in sydney in a week.

    Then you'll get third party tools to make your band more like a smartwatch. It's neat BUT some implementation is left to be desired.
    EXAMPLE: If you want whatsapp messages to appear on ur band, it will have to cut each line into an individual notification cause the band has an 18 character limit for each line. So each time it displays a new line, the band vibrates for each of them which annoys me so I just set it so it displays only up to one line of a message so only 1 vibration per message. But when you do that it's still quite restrictive.
    Bob: I'm sending y <- already 18 characters… not very helpful is it?

      You also get Sleep as Android integration when you purchase that app, personally a lot more useful than the notification features.

    Ordered a Mi Band 2 from Gearbest to find I got sent one that showed signs of use/signs that it had been tampered with as it had scratches on the unit already and the tab inside the box was glued back on.

    Has anyone else received any dodgy units from GearBest? :/

      I got mine in good conditions this week, but the BP monitor will make you rush to hospital ! (One reading is 53 and next minutes it can go up to 200). So God knows how accurate they are.

    I've tried to check out and the system does not allow me to use my Australia Post Parcel Collect address for shipping, saying "Please enter Detail address within 40 characters." A sales rep confirmed via online chat that this is a new setting.

    I don't know why they want to limit the address to 40 characters now but this prevents me from placing the order. I reckon others who use Australia Post Parcel Collect or Locker delivery services may face the same issue.
