I Am Setsuna 33% off $28.1 AUD ($28.13 CAD) Canadian eShop Nintendo Switch

100

Seen that someone had posted this for Aussie eshop 33% discount $40.16, however, the price has now been updated on the Canadian eshop and works out significantly cheaper.

$26.79 CAD + 5% VAT = $28.13 CAD ~ $28.10 AUD

Make sure to set up a separate Canadian Nintendo Switch Region Account
with the time zone: (UTC-06:00) America/Edmonton for the lowest sales Tax Alberta 5%

If you want to avoid International Transactions fees on converting to CAD you can Buy Candian e-shop codes in AUD from PCgamesupply + Instant delivery

Edit: It seems international cards where blocked a few months ago via zip code checking, this essentially leaves the codes as the only option.

  • Worth mentioning, if you change the region of your account and add eshop credit, you cannot revert for so long as you have a positive balance.

Don't add $30CAD, buy the game, and hope to change back to Aus.

With that in mind, does a 28 Degrees card work with the Canadian eshop? I had no luck when trying to use it with South African one.

    • Hmmm, I might try this at home later tonight.

Are you saying you can just change the region of your existing account as long as you have balance of $0?

Not the best Idea, makes it a bit of pain Switching between them if you have remaining credit, you are better off just setting up another account for your Switch.

      • Correct. But, as clint-008 reconfirmed, you cannot change back if you balance is more than $0.00

No sadly, it turns out it did a while back but they have now added Zip code cross checking, which prevents it the code is the only way to add credit now for non-Canadians.

  • Wish they did a physical release for this title. Probably would have bought it then.

    • There was a physical release in Japan which can also be played in english, you could import it for around $60-70 from YesAsia or buy it secondhand from somebody who has. Big difference in price though from the digital version.

      $70'ish dollars from Base.com

I have it on my Wish List, hoping it drops down a bit in price. I'd pay $40 for a physical copy, don't know why they didn't bother with one globally :-(

  • Can you use an Australia CC or is that blocked?

    • Damn it seems they added postal code checking a few months back which prevents it, anyway I ended up buying the $50 code and also picking up retro city rampage for around $15.

  • Thank you, followed the instructions and purchased the game for $28.13, now I need to find something to buy for 6.87…
Also saved 12c from currency conversion.

  • Nice, I'll try this when I get home.

I purchased TumbleSeed for $12.19, I'm hoping the Canadian eshop has it for the same price!!
