Asus ZenbookPro UX430UA vs DELL XPS 13

Hello,

I was wondering if someone could share with me their opinion on the two laptops mentioned in the title.

the Asus is from $1288 while the Dell is from $1494.

I am looking at a laptop for Uni work and want something light and somewhat future proof. If there are any other laptops that you'd recommend for under $1500 please also let me know. I don't really care for the touch screen of the Dell but i do like the design.
