Hi Guys, we recently bought a house and looking at replacing the carpet.
There are so many providers for this product just wondering whether any Ozbargainers recently bought, installed carpet and had a good experience and would recommend someone or place.

depends on how you use them and take care of them… also depends on the carpet as well.
we have timber floor boards and tiles in high traffic areas,
If you like the tones then consider sisal. Can be expensive but great wearing, easy to clean, and a bit like the best combination of both carpet and a harder floor at the same time.

I reckon the look and feel of the carpet is more important than where you get it from. Obviously price comes into it, but we looked for carpet recently and went to a couple of different stores. Only one had the carpet we liked.
of course… but we are also looking for something instock where I don't have the luxury of waiting extended periods for.. as long as the store stocks most brands of carpet, like the godfrey hirst, staimaster, cavalier, forbo… and what ever else there is. then I will select from there… an important part is a positive experience from other ozbargainers. like yourself, that found only one store that stock the carpet you liked, but you haven't recommended it. so I'm guessing you didn't have a good experience?
Well I'm not in Sydney, so my recommendation won't be worth much, but it was Choices.
ohh I have a choices carpet 15 minutes from where I live will check them out thanks.
