I have a reputable brand wifi extender (bought 5-6 years ago). However, it doesn't seem to give decent range anymore. I need it for outdoor balcony area. Like 20-30 meters from where the modem is now.

What is that? Is that inwall ethernet port?
Either way, they just have standard power outlets in the place. I guess this wouldn't work. It looks great thoughIt replaces Ethernet jacks, not power outlets.
Still awesome if you're keen on running some extra cable.

$38, or better if digging for vouchers etc. Reliable, and ethernet port can be very handy. I've got 3 on the run at various buildings without any problems.
When you say you have the running, is that like extending it every 10 odd meters? Doesn't the internet speed half everytime it goes through one of these?
How fast is your internet connection?
Its optus cable. Relatively fast.
Also that's exactly the one I have (maybe older model since I bought 3-4 years ago). So I can get another one and it will keep extending the range?
Buy and Access Point and cable it. Repeaters are crap.
Or go mesh, Google WiFi is good.

Do you have existing network outlets in your house?
They have in-wall APs which replace your network jack with a wireless access point. Just need a POE switch on the other end really.

Just put a bunch into my parents house, took about 5 minutes to install four of them.
