Melbourne members get a discount voucher with their memberships during the season proper.
A couple of years ago it was 70% off everything, I think it was 60% this year.
Could also get a 3 game membership next year, enjoy a couple games, then buy a grand worth of shoes and gear for a few hunded (I saved $700 two years ago with a bulk order) and didn't hit a discount cap.

Both my sns played junior footy in a suburb that must be part of their marketing zone. It used to be Melbourne players that came along to the footy club for promotions/training. Because my boys were registered junior players we somehow became registered in some kind of marketing list and as a result I regularly get these melbourne footy club promotional things for free game tickets or discounts on melbourne fan stuff. Problem is that I dont think there were many Melbourne supporters amongst the kids at the club. My kids were already well and truly brainwashed and had Carlton Junior memberships long before they were old enough to go to Auskick. I am a keen OzBargainer but the discount code doesnt exist to get me to change my footy team!
