Brand New Earphone from COTD?

Hi all,

I bought Sennheiser MXL560 from this deal on 22, Sep: http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/31592

Got the package yesterday, opened the mail package I found the product box was opened already, I thought it wasn't a big problem if the earphone is ok, BUT, no, I picked the earphone up gently and the black shield of the right side earphone fell down, I just cannot believe this is a so-called 'brand new earphone'!

I requested return of this product, will see how it goes.

    ouch happened to me @ COTD with the Hydration Bag, came with no Bladder when it was advertised. Got a reply in 24hours, shipped it back for free ( which is nice ) and they sent a replacement out. Got the right product ~1 month from buy date. Goodluck with yours.

    Yeah, you can't fault COTD on one aspect of their service, IME they are honourable and fair in their dealings with customers on warranty claim matters! :)
