Picked up a couple of these on Friday night and thought that it's quite a good deal considering it would cost more to buy these from a shop than it costs for a Happy Meal (<$5 for cheapest option). The toys are around 10cm high/long and have a built in led light that glows when you push the button. Also comes with a trading card in a plastic sleeve.
Received Solgaleo and Lunala on Friday at Gympie in QLD but might vary from store to store.
Don't have any at CQ maccas yet.
No Pokemon Sun/Moon happy meal toys at Pascoe Vale VIC McDonalds July 31st. But they gave out Hello Kitty in the green tea cup toy.
I picked up Solgaleo that included a Popplio trading card at Pascoe Vale VIC. They had Lunala and Hello Kitty in the green tea cup as other choices as well.
Not a deal. Toy is part of the pack and has always been like this. It's like making a deal for a free silver bag when you buy a box of shapes.

I picked up Lunala and Solgaleo at the Riverton, WA store yesterday. Was less embarrassed than I thought being a grown man buying Happy Meals without any children. First time in years!

lol.. fair enough! was trying to get the hello kitties for my wife's collection.
Went to Stockland Merrylands today, was told that it doesn't start until tomorrow (Thursday 3rd August).
Proceeded to Westfield Parramatta, the McDonald in the top level food court had Hello Kitty and Dispicable Me. The McDonald in the lower level had Pokemon and Dispicable Me.
NOTE: There are 8 figures but 10 different cards. Same figures has different cards.
Yeah it just depends when they get stock I think. Only 1 of 3 stores I visited had Pokemon and they just had Lunala and Solgaleo for now. Sounds like they'll switch over in a week or so (depending on stock) to another two, so the promotion should run for approx. 5 weeks.

Got a Pikachu from Indooroopilly food court today. They didn't have any other varieties.

Try a different store. They usually release two Pokemon and one Hello Kitty each week.

Hard to get the whole set. I missed 3.
Instead of each restaurant getting 2 toys they'd have one at a time or they wouldn't have any from the set and instead sell an old toy or the other (Hello Kitty) one.
Look at your local dump
