  It's a great deal - I just wish they would not make the voucher so stupidly large. Given you need to take in one per person, even a couple going out for dinner use a couple of sheets of paper and about $3.00 worth of ink depending on your home printer cartridge*.

  Yes, I just modified the PDF a little then printed 2 sheets/page so I could shrink them a little and save ink, but it's still a silly size. Especially since, when I last used a voucher from this group, the bistro checkout chick just accepted one voucher for 4 adults, agreeing that the collection of four pieces of paper was a waste of paper.

  • = I have no idea about the true cost so just made up this figure, but printer ink cartridges are not cheap and this uses a lot of ink.

    Hi Mooooooo,

    Thanks for the feedback! We have been experimenting with a couple different voucher sizes. The current voucher is designed to be A5 so people can print out multiple pages per sheet but unfortunately that has the side affect that if you just press print most PDF programs scale and rotate to fit the whole A4 sheet.

    We will have a look at the voucher today and see if we can do something to make this a bit friendlier for our customers.

      Thanks for letting me know. I certainly just hit print, thinking that's all that was required. Perhaps the simplest fix would be to simply make the voucher apply to more than one person? If you don't want it to get out of control, perhaps make it valid for 2 meals only? That way there's only one coupon per couple. Even if you then get an individual diner, they're getting the same deal.

    Hi Heydude,

    Sorry there's not a venue close to you running this deal. We have a couple venues in the Newcastle area but unfortunately they aren't taking part in this promotion, but are running some promotions of their own.

    With this deal being available at 229 venues across QLD, NSW, VIC, SA & WA (and a couple of TAS venues joining in this week) it is quite hard to identify exactly what areas are covered without referring to the entire venue list.

    We also would like to assure everyone else that this deal is definitely not a scam and there is quite a large coverage across Australia (albeit in major population areas), especially in QLD & VIC
