I dropped my iPhone 7 which shattered the screen luckily I have AppleCare+. I want to ask if Apple Store will replace the iPhone or will they fix the screen? Anyone care to share their experience please.

There's a small service fee of $45 for just "screen repairs".

Welcome to the real world that's life unfortunately we call it excess :(
It is usually about making sure people have skin in the game to make them think twice about actually claiming things. It is like the excess on house or car insurance. It sucks but it isn't that unusual.

back up your phone before taking it in so you can restore it when you get home
