I was at Dan Murphy's in QV (Melbourne) looking for a slab for the Grand Final replay. Was going to get an Aussie beer but couldn't say no to Asahi at this price.
I'm not sure if Dan Murphy's prices are regulated nationwide but I think they should be.

Is it the one made in UK as I have never seen the original brew here.
This one is brewed in Thailand under supervision of Asahi Breweries.

Not an expert but I think factors like water source, temperature, source of ingredients etc all make a difference in the brew…

I think Carlton had a go at one time. Taste was just … wrong.
Asahi is fantastic as a first for the night, or with seafood.
