  • Showing as $7.44 for me

edit: my bad was before code applied

    • Works fine for me, you have to be logged in and VPN off as it is only for AU and I think NZ IP's.
      Thanks OP.

  • What are the differences between these and the Youth Edition?

  • Anyone know how these compare to the IV Hybrid dual drivers?

I've had a pair of those for a couple of years now and have been very impressed with them….

    • They are pretty good sound wise, I have a pair from a few months ago. The only thing i really dislike about it is theres no volume control. Otherwise for that price, good buy lol

They are not Hybrid according to the below review, other wise a pretty positive review of them.

Honestly, I love Xiaomi. But remember you get what you pay for. This may just be my own personal unlucky experience, yet I seemingly find that my Xiaomi Pistons whether it be the original Piston 1s, 2s, 3s, Basics, or Fresh, they tend to always die on one side of the earphones. I've had at least 6 different pairs die on one side for me and it's kind of put me off buying them anymore. This is a good price however for these.

    • Yeah last ones I bought from here died on left side.

    • But at their cheap price they're disposable if you get a few months out of them before they die

    • Yep, past 2 pairs I've had have done the same after a few months. for ~$5 though I can't complain

    • Do you run with these on? I've found some earphones aren't able to handle the movement and so either side will eventually break, so that might be why if you do.

      • No. I don't. I just use them on the train. They died whilst I was a passenger during a drive midway through a song. Didn't even move.

    • It's happened to 3 of mine now. But I get heavy duty use out of them.

It's cheap to replace them every few months at $5 or less though. I stock up on them when there's deals.

    • Have been using my Piston 2.0s for about two years at work (yes we we can listen to music and zone out, nobody cares), despite my sedentary lifestyle the headphones have copped a fair bit of abuse, I carelessly toss them into the drawer at the end of each day and occasionally the cord got caught by the drawer, I've dropped one of the headphones in coffee once and simply wiped it clean with an anti-bac wipe, and they're still the best sounding headphones I've owned (and I've had Audio-technicas and Sennheisers - granted not their high-end stuff though), until I've replaced them with BlitzWolf graphenes

I also have the Piston 3s and the Hybrid but I don't think they sound as 'warm' as the Piston 2.0s, and now I've just replaced them with the BlitzWolf graphene headphones (thanks again Ozbargain) and I reckon they actually sound better than the Piston 2.0s - but that's probably down to wear and tear, and the coffee.

But with cheap Chinese products the quality is still hit and miss, guess I've been lucky

    • Same, got some in June and in the past week the right side is now very weak, still a little bit of sound coming out, but noticably less than the other side. no doubt it will fail soon.

  • Code is accepted but price doesn't change. In fact it says subtotal AU$9.57

    • Are you logged in? Only trying to purchase 1? Nothing else in cart? Still working here:

      FIXED PRICE Coupon: $3.79

      Grand Total $3.79

  • Trying these out too for $5 - hope postage isn't as slow as suggested haha

    • +2

They've been pretty good lately for me personally, usually 3 or 4 weeks; one thing came after 2 weeks. I haven't had any issues with really slow postage or items not arriving since the end of last year.

  • Only one use per account. Got one for the mrs as mine are good so far.

  • Are these "good" overall or good for the price range of cheap earphones?

I know not to expect anything like my Yuin PK1's, but I have VE Monks which cost noticeably more and I think they're pretty decent, for that price. I know they are both buds instead of in-ear so it's not a direct comparison, but you get the jist of the question lol.

Only other cheap in-ears I could compare with are the ones that came with my Sony phones over the years. They were "not bad" too.

    • Very good for the price.

More expensive ones won't sound as good.

      Definitely better than your Sonys.

Is it still valid? Code showing as expired for me.

    • Expired for me too

  • Code expired, it wasn't even valid for 3 hours haha

    • Op's post says 300 uses of the code, so I am a bit surprised it lasted that long.

  • If anyone missed out there is a deal for silver here now
