  $1050 USD base cost plus import duty fees (over $1000) plus shipping.

  Was just under $1600 AUD for me total cost a few days ago but will obviously vary depending on the strength of the dollar.

  We really get shafted here on pc and laptop prices.

  Be on the lookout for hot deals though there was a laptop similarly priced I think only $100 AUD more and had a GTX 1070 delivered from graysonline eBay site.

  Do you have a preference on any other specs? Screen size/tech? There are many good option in the 2k range, and depending on exactly what you need, you could get better deals. For instance, if you can settle on a 1050Ti, the price drops considerably.

  If you don't care about brand/looks, this could be an option as well

      $1999 after PLAYER coupon. It's very pricey and was more expensive than the deal posted, but it is better than the Acer V nitro.
