Is anywhere selling them for less than the average $3/$3.50 a kg in the Brisbane area? I'm western suburbs but hoping someone has seen cheaper in their travels.

Oh dear….hard day hun?
Calm down, Have a banana🍌
I'll give him one….if i can get it under $3/kg
Ocker, this is unnecessarily rude. Discussion is fine but let's keep things respectful.
Aldi is usually cheaper than $3.00.
How much cheaper are you expecting it to get ? Given that Panama TR4 disease has been confirmed, it'll likely just get more expensive.
Just wanting to know if anyone sees them cheap - even when prices go up some fruit shops use a markdown as a puller.
Bought some today for $2.75 a kilo. Amazing that they are cheaper here than in Brisbane, that never happens for anything down here
The cheapest I've seen is the loose/single bananas sold in market for $2.6/kg.
If you have kids, they could get loose bananas in woolworths for free (please don't go that low to get free bananas for yourself).
Otherwise $3 - $4 is normal price in major supermarkets. It's still less than a cup of coffee.
