Where's the best place to buy GPS phone with Australia Warranty?
ie. Nokia 6110, Nokia N95, HTC Tytn II, …

  • I got my 6610 Nav for free on an Optus $59 plan last year.

  • Yeah, Three mobile plan offer on 6610 Nav isn't bad too. In fact, 6610 seems to be the best GPS mobile phone. Nokia N95 took ages to load the GPS system and HTC Tytn II heats up like a stove when using the GPS.

    • My brother got a N95 4G and indeed it took forever to lock you down on the map. However I met another guy last week with a N95 8G and was surprised how fast the GPS is. Nokia has indeed done much more than just bumping up the storage…

  • Yeah, the new N95 is a model bump as well..
I'm looking at the N82, pretty much the N95 8Gb in a candybar and an SDHC memory slot rather than inbuilt 8Gb, it's a bit smaller and has, by all reports, a "camera quality" camera.
Virgin have it at $12/mth on their $45 Cap, or $16/mth on their $30 Cap.

The 6110 is getting on a bit now.. but is apparently an OK unit.

    • do you mean 6110 or 6610?

  • I like HTC Tytn 2.
Any one using this phone please add your inputs.

  • by far, Nokia 6110 is one of the best GPS phones. It uses a different mapping system to that used in most PDA's and the Nokia N-series. Better get nokia 6110nav while you can tho! Nokia plans to use the same GPS as it does for its N-series for the future.
