Free Cryptocurrency Tokens for New Crypto Exchange ~ $10 Value

6014

Taken from: https://www.reddit.com/r/beermoney/comments/6p0vai/10_free_i…

You can now earn ~$10 (100 WCX) in free WCX tokens and even more by letting your friends know (200 WCX each)! WCX is an upcoming global low-cost digital currency exchange. As a holder of WCX tokens, we'll be entitled to a portion of WCX's fee profit. Since WCX collects fees in all sorts of digital currencies, holding WCX tokens is the equivalent of holding a diversified digital currency portfolio that keeps growing. 20% of all fee revenue generated by WCX is automatically paid out to WCX token holders on a weekly basis, in amounts equivalent to each holder's share of the total amount of tokens.

I'm hoping this is like that Circle promotion I posted last time. My $5 in bitcoins is now worth $50.

Deal link has no referral, and you still get 100 tokens.

Hmmm … unpublished referral links in the comments and the number of + votes don't match up.

    Cheers OP!

It does to me, many clowns on here that like the + button

    Thanks OP.
not sure how this works but hey, free is free :)

  • Digital Currency Exchange

So what is it? what is it for how do i use it, is it like Coinjar?

    • +9

It is just a startup crypto currency.
Same as hundreds of others, founders hope that with enough exposure it will become an actual recognised altcoin and then their big stash of reserved founding coins (which are created out of nothing) can be sold for millions.

There are constantly free giveaways of altcoin, they are afterall worthless and it costs nothing to give them away to try and build reputation.

There is no reason other than time waste not to collect freebies for the slim chance they will actually become tradable for hard currency.

  • +18

    spam, thats what this is

these referal scam ICO's and related bs does not belong in the 'freebie' section of ozbargain

  • +9

i'd be suspicious. Running a Google search does't return anything and the page wcex.co is pretty lean!

  • Have fun with this guys.

Beta Launch: September 1, 2017 ICO Planned Start date: September 9, 2017 Launch: October 10, 2017

    • Team. Comes from Apple, IBM, Deutsche Bank, and has a lot of experience building scalable stuff.
      lol

no (profanity) information on their website at all "comes from apple and wall street… we build scalable stuff"

paying $12 USD per spammer on BitcoinTalk forums, oh and the fact they are taking no ID from any customers worldwide while operating a currency exchange

good luck with your spam journey OP and your affiliate revshare scam but this in no way belongs on OzBargain because there is no bargain, its a dodgy ass 'company' paying people to spam for them setting up for their as-yet-to-be-determined ICO scam that will happen in September.

but oh they have Apple employees, along with IBM, Wall Street traders and Deutche Bank staff…. they can also build 'stuff', and they claim to handle 1 million TPS…. Visa, PayPal and Mastercard can't even do that combined

    this is 100000000000000000000000% a scam

I love stuff! And I will be reading spam whilst on my yacht sailing the world thanks to these crypto-thingys.

    • -1

so if it's a scam would it be please ok to grab the some cheap coin from them, transfere it to a paper-wallet and then transfere that to a bitcoin…. would that be ok?

    • +3

I'm surprised we don't see more crypto scams; everyone's heard vague stories of Bitcoin riches for early adopters, yet no-one knows much about how they really work… Seems a perfect combo to disguise a Ponzi scheme and get a few bucks from a lot of idiots :)

      • +4

I'm surprised we don't see more crypto scams

Honestly, I think almost all altcoins are crypto scams…

      • +1

There have been a few ETH scams in the last couple of months. Some are ICOs while others are spam messages which people click on. Either way, Im surprised how quickly fools part with their ETH.

    • -1

The main selling point of crypto is you dont need an id…

  • if I get much increased spam emails from now, it'll prove it.

  • Nvm I'm illiterate.

  • So with the free $10 value … you could possibly be paid $1/d when they get to 2 Billion a day in transactions (and nothing until then)… likely?

Completely awesome company hidden behind a Panama whois guard that has employees from major international banks, wall street, IBM… yet they can't even put an "about us" or pictures of the staff, or even names of these staff on their website….

Not one single thing about this company is legitimate

  • +3

No ID, name nor address taken? This is just gonna be full of self-referrals.

Be aware of giving your e-mail.

    • +4

read the reddit link that the OP linked to… the entire thing is 100's of spammers spamming their referral link and nothing else… haha

  • I used my different email accounts and got, "account is already in use"

  • (profanity) quantitative easing…

  • Looks dodgy, but registered with a disposable email anyway

  • For anyone unaware, these new altcoins ICO's are becoming more and more frequent. New crypto's are released with very little thought into the development road map (ie. whats the intended purpose of the coin), most will likely fade into obscurity soon after development. Also, the '$10 of value' claim is very optimistic consider the coin is not even released yet.

  • +2

    1) Looks like a multilevel marketing scheme- "Referrer gets 200 WCX. Referee gets 100 WCX"
    2) "20% of fee revenue goes to token holders"- where does the other 80% go?

  • +1

Reminds me of those trash scammers at Goldmoney. Had a substantial amount from referrals, only to have my account shut down for no reason. They basically used me as free advertisement.

    • +1

Same .. they confiscated ~ $600 in referral money for no reason

      Will never use them again

  • +4

Tried signing up with a brand new email address, got:
    "Email is already being used."

    Edit:
Tried again with another new email address, different provider, this time using an ozbargain referral and got:
    "Account is already in use."

    Edit:
Take 3, teamviewerd into a computer in another state, brand new email, different referral link from here,
    "Account is already in use."

I'm sick of clicking (profanity) car pictures so I'm out

    • +1

      Stop doing it lol.

They're just building a massive spam mail list to sell on to bot spammers for money.
The selling point to this list they're building is that it's full of verified emails where a large % of them are actually attended to by humans.

      • lol. I stopped at 3, and have since deleted the email addresses.
If they spam those addresses, they'll get bounce messages.

  • +1

Highly suspect. May turn out not to be an outright scam, but certainly isn't a 'bargain' - I doubt any of us here would be investing in such a highly risky altcoin that isn't established at all yet, if it weren't for this 'deal'. Not worth the effort IMO.

  • +1

Sounds like a ponzi scam - too many of these giving crypto a bad name

    • +1

There's no need to worry about that… Cryptocurrencies have always had a poor reputation.

  • +1

So much hate for no money down…… Thanks OP :)

  • +4

This post has more + than it should.

I've only recently dived into Crypto space, and this smells like scam all over.

    Not worth it

  • +5

How does $10 = 100 tokens when it hasnt even release ICO or started trading. No verification for referrals. Smells like a scam.

    • +1

Agreed. I don't understand how these tokens have a real USD value so saying this is worth USD$10 is dubious at best.

    • +2

      10 Zimbabwe dollars :)

  • +3

Referrals/free crypto currency is basically hyperinflation.

  • Crypto-crap is great for criminals and low life scammers

    pseudo-net-coins should be banned outright

  • Would not touch this with a 90 foot pole. Im into crypto but this looks like super scam

    • Piranha would you (or any member here) be able to post a link to a genuine site that educates the complete novice on cryptocoins? Bitcoin does interest me but I'd like a guide as to where and how and why I'd get some. Thanks.

  • Nothing legit about it

  • +4

It's not worth $10, they are just trying to drum up hype.

  • +2

    Another new pump n dump.

  • +2

    Dodgy as.

  • +1

    100% scam

  • Can you cash out your $10 immediately?

  • I have $100 dollars worth (oh wait they are 108… hang on 126) worth of Dunning-Krugerrands for free to anybody who wants to get on board my surefire 100% guaranteed start up currency. See me behind the Donut shop at Westfield Parramatta

  • I don't know why this was posted on OzB….

  • Sounds good but don't expect to get rich lol
