Haha ikr!
First, read the Dashcam Buying guide (Australian version).
http://www.dashcamownersaus.com.au/buying/buying-guides/Then try the Dash Cam recommendations thread on Whirlpool. There's a lot of information there
https://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum/133?g=417If you are too lazy to read, you can simply just pick one of the dashcams listed here..
These are "safe bets" with no big flaws. the Thinkware F770 is probably the kind of dashcam you are looking for if you want a dual camera setup (front and back). It was mentioned in this thread.
To get a good price, you can import from Aliexpress and get Cashback via Cashrewards or wait for an eBay sale with coupon code.
Thanks a lot

two a119s (or a118c) + one gps module + hardwire kit + two 128gb microsd + ebay code + cr. one independent 1080p/30/60fps unit in front and and one in rear. wait for an ebay code. you can't go wrong.

https://www.ozbargain.com.au/deals/ebay.com.auBang for buck, I would be running with 2 of the V2 A119's with the Sony sensor.
I run a A119 v1 + an A118C ATM and I am happy with the ROI
V2 A119's with the Sony sensor.
The a119 uses an omnivision ov4689 sensor. The a119s has a Sony STARVIS IMX291 sensor.

165*
will give you a distorted (fish-eye like)image.
No budget specified, but with a wish list like that you'll not be able to get a $99 special. I'd go with the Blackvue DR650S, has dual cameras (front/rear), Event sensor, can see well at night (not sure of your definition of night vision, as most cannot have the normal IR night vision due to the position of cameras behind glass) and wide angle. I'd get a polarized filter for the camera too.
Street Guardian are on the verge of releasing their new SG9663DC which is an all in one dual channel.
Check here for updates on it's release https://dashcamtalk.com/forum/threads/street-guardian-sg9663…Street Guardian are based in Sydney I believe and regularly frequent those forums, as well as Whirlpool, and provide excellent after sales support.
If you're after a cheaper alternative, I'd suggest getting 2x Viofo A119/A119S for front and back.
Personally, I'm waiting for the SG9663DC to replace my A118C.
Gee that's quite a wish list there…
