Ok a quick way to work it out for those gleam international comps
See https://www.epochconverter.com/
Check the gleam source search for "ends_at"
eg ends_at":1502168399
Then just paste in the unix time.I actually have a program developed which has a function that deals with extracting gleam comps details which currently is on the things to revist after finishing off another stage. As an alternative that site should help. :)
Cheers, that's pretty handy. Normally just convert the time from the email after entering a comp.
Glad could help.
It can get a bit laborious diving into the gleam source each time you want to post. Still it's more reliable then via the email then manually working out the time zone offsets.I initially used that method. From memory from the email needed to work out the offset from the where the competition is hosted to AEST which can get tricky with daylight savings worldwide. There is also an timezone offset setting in the gleam details somewhere as well. Thou you don't require it for the calculation as the unix time is UTC.
Earlier in the year spent some time scrapping the gleam details to help manage when daily bonus entries are due. Also for prioritising when to do them each day. I was doing way too many international comps and juggling numerous time zones.
It would handy if the site added a filter for daily entries in order of time. That I have implemented thou currently it's on ice until finish off the core of my comping project.
Also be great if they automatically grabbed the time details for a gleam comp provided the source link. Then updated if they changed. i.e. if comp time is extended or the compettion has been disabled etc.
Thanks for the listing.
I was just doing a last second dash before 2pm to do it and realised ended in another hour. The method I've posted above should help you quickly give the ending time according to what time zone your in. You may need to adjust the result for posting if your not located in the AEST time zone.
Ends 2:59:59 pm AEST :)
