Hi
My wife is planning to buy some decent branded eye glasses online.
I bought a Rayban one from Shadesdaddy, an US based website 5 years ago and it's still strong.
Any suggestions on websites with good deals would be appreciated

Not sunglasses
Eye glasses
Ah, my assumption because I saw Rayban.
Rayban has reading eye glasses as well

I got my prescription Raybans from https://www.selectspecs.com/au/ great prices compared to buying locally and took about 2 weeks delivery from UK.
Coastal.. I've used them, they're good
Zenni… I've used them, they're good
Firmoo.. I've used them, they're… Ok
You need the size of your best specs (websites will tell you how) and your pupil distance (optometrist will give to you, or pop in to Specs avers, they'll measure it for you.
The websites have a 'try on' facility.. You upload a picture of your face and 'try' on the specs. It's worth doing.
If you cant find the frames you want, email or chat online. I've found them to be really helpful.
You often get a special when you sign up or sign up and begin your order and they'll send you a special deal offer in a few days.
The websites are a bit clunky, but if you're patient you'll be fine.
Enjoy the savings. I have difficult lenses and they do it just fine, also progressive. I save about $600 each time I buy. Also huge savings on contact lenses.
Vision Direct - au website ships from HK
Thanks all for your valuable feedback
Look at visiondirect, wife bought ray bans ( script lens) and is super happy with them.
These were sunglasses that they removed the lens and put script ones in, got the originals lenses sent with the glasses all for cheaper than the sunnies here. They have all types of glasses.
if you have health cover, cant go wrong with clearly.com.au. They have deals with 50% off lenses regularly
Did you claim manually after the purchase?
Yeah. No hicaps yet
And they don't have try at home service, do they? Sorry for asking you questions, I just thought since you've tried them, you'd know :D
@purplelady: np, you can order whatever frames u want to try on, sent to ur house, pick which ones u want, then order.
When you receive ur order, if u still dont like , you can return within 1 month for full refund
@ZubatRingo: are you saying I can order and pay, then refund the ones I don't want? with prescription and everything?
@purplelady: yep
@ZubatRingo: oh cool! Thanks!
@purplelady: make sure to return within a month!
I bought my Chloe ones from Vision Direct online and Valentino ones (both prescription) from Clearly Contacts online. Great prices from those websites.
Rayban? Do you mean sunglasses? http://stores.ebay.com.au/thequeenofshades/_i.html?_sop=15&r…
