[PC] Monaco: What's Yours Is Mine - Free Weekend (4 Days) - Steam

70

If you have not already got and played this fun game here is your chance to try it out for the next four days.
The game is a lot of fun, has great replay value, you can play it with friends in co-op - in short the game is pretty great.
If you like it, for the next 41 hours (as at time of posting) there is a 60% off deal meaning the game will only cost $5.99 US (which is about $8 AUD).
Enjoy.

P.S.: And just to pre-empt: this kind of free weekend plays do count as a deal so do not bother with getting upset about it.

Maybe just list the actual discount in the title instead of 4 days of free play. That's the real deal, not four days of free play.

Nah, I would not say so. Being able to play a full game (as opposed to a demo version with limited features) for four days which is enough to finish the game easily if you really want to, is the deal for me.
If I start listing the 60% in the title, then surely there will be some people saying "Oh, but it was 62% ten months ago" or "It was in a bundle 2 years ago and hence cheaper."

TBH, I am over those stupid squabbles.

      • Who cares if people squabble? You don't need to respond to them and it doesn't affect the bargain whatsoever.

You would however get a bigger turnout if you actually offered a decent discount on the item rather than "free play for a few days". Most people have jobs and therefore a few days of free play means nothing as they work and have other commitments.

        • Historical low price is $1.69 AUD as opposed to $7.57 AUD. I only included the 60% because otherwise people complain about that, too.
If you want to play the game right now this is a good deal. If you have a big backlog, wait and you will get a better deal.

However, playing it for some days you will know whether it is worth purchasing. Also, some people will simply play and finish the game and be done with it - for free. I used such a free weekend to complete BF4 single player and that was enough to show me I do not need to buy it. Hence the ability to see if an investment is worth it is the real deal for me.
