Well you can use an adaptor or if you have the xiaomi powerstrip can plug it in straightaway or can purchase this Australia figure 8 plug cable for $4.48
https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/jackson-fe…
as far as I know, they need a figure 8 cable so you can get an Australia figure 8 plug cable.
cable in australia is an extra $5 from jaycar or officeworks
most devices and some laptops are going usb c …… so i'd regard this as a legacy charger……..your next phone will be usb c not micro usb quick charge.
This is just the hub, you can still use it to charge USB C devices.
What he's referring to is a straight USB-C to USB-C is superior to regular USB to USB-C conversion. It honestly is where things are headed, laptops and portable chargers are starting to appear with USB-C ports only. So I'll be holding off until the next gen wall chargers appear too.
But yes, you can still use these for USB-C, just be sure to use a good quality cable otherwise damage can occur.
Anker chargers are the bomb.

Looking for genuine anker micro usb charging cable. Can anyone point me where to buy? Want to ensure i buy the genuine one.. Ta
Thanks! How to tell if its genuine or fake btw?
Email Anker the model and serial number.
Besides that, difficult to tell unless you buy from Amazon, Anker Direct - they have an ebay store aswell or an authorised reseller.
What OO linked is cheap enough to risk it - check the sellers feedback and decide if it's worth it.
Amazon sells them. Buy both and save on shipping.
Picked one of these up a few months ago.
It's currently powering 4x Raspberry Pi(s) and a 4 port switch via USB.
No issues so far. The build quality is excellent. Would highly recommend.
Thanks, that's pretty much what I had in mind, just ordered one!
What do you need 4pi's for?
Learning about clustering, probably the cheapest way of doing so.
4? RPis?
But… why? :)
Here's an alternative to the Anker. This one is QC3.0 too but with USB-C instead of USB-A. Free C-C cable too.

Yeah, this one is actually better valued. its cheaper at ($29.23AUD) and also includes a free fast charger cable. Without it, you will be slow chargin (for people with QC2/QC3 devices)
Type C output :DC 3.6V-6.5V/3A, 6.5V-9V/2A, 9V-12V / 1.5A
Seems like it won't charge USB C laptops.
depends which laptops …. apple should be ok though hp make you use their charger. reason from hp was that their charger was high power and they didn't want people blaming their lap tops for long charge times because users used low power chargers ……
Looks like fast charging USB cables not supplied. I was charging Samsung S8 with normal USB cable and device said I was normal charging. Plugged in a QC compatible cable which was supplied with the AUKey QC3 adapter and device said "Fast charging".
My el cheapo blitz wolf charger is a lot inferior to my anker charger
63W - so I can charge my usb-c laptop with this?
I doubt it would provide 63W through a single port. It'd more likely be a cumulative rating.
That's the total output for all ports. Normal ports output 12W, the QC3 ports vary depending on how many ports are used but generally outputs around 19W.
Technically it will charge, but very very very slowly if the laptop is off or sleep mode. If you're using the laptop it won't charge properly.
How does this one compare with Aukey 3.0 QC which can be bought on Aiexpress official Aukey store for much cheaper than this one ?
Do they have adapter for Australian 240 volt plugs?
