New NSW Fuel Price App

Hi everyone,

So I've been making a fuel price app called ServoTrack for the past 9 months, and it's finally available in its entirety!

You can:

  • Set notifications to let you know when prices around you go up / down (for the OzBargainer in all of us)
  • See local price trends on a chart (not just for greater Sydney)
  • Find the cheapest petrol stations along your route

    How quickly do the prices update? I tried the free version and some price information is 5 days old (e.g P/diesel at 7/11 Edmondson Park NSW).

      The prices come from the FuelCheck data from the NSW Government. The law requires the stations to update the data as soon as their prices change. In the case of Diesel / Premium Diesel, prices don't usually update that often.

    Who finds out the current prices for the servos all over the place to update the app? If it depends on customers it could be lacking….

      Thank you :) The prices come from FuelCheck, so it should be pretty accurate.

      The data is the same as FuelCheck, however the means to access the data is improved. For example you can set favourites, set more customised favourites, see more precise trends for your local area etc.

    I had a quick look I like the way the petrol prices are already showing while scrolling around on the map not like motormouth. I will definitely use it for a couple weeks before buying the full version but so far seems really good.

      I'm not sure what their data source is, but ServoTrack uses the FuelCheck data from the NSW Government.

    Brilliant app. Been using it since it was in beta phase and to date still my favorite app that I check regularly.

    Wish it worked in additional states
