Because some people still have integrity :)
They can also get that from the interweb.
Integrity to a degree… laziness is the more plausible answer. It's much easier clicking "download" on iTunes, rather than putting in effort to find another source (be it digital or hard copy). Any digital music is a rip off. iTunes is making an absolute killing, since it only needs to provide bandwidth. I'd much rather buy the actual CD (in some cases, cheaper than iTunes itself), which is lossless, and includes a nice booklet as well.
I think you'll find that any digital format cannot losslessly represent an analog format :P
Ergo CDs are lossy :) But I knew what you meant.
It is actually possible to source & purchase legal content online without resorting to iTunes though! A lotta folks forget that when they're way up on that moral high-horse named Apple! :p
itune cards are great for apps as well
dont know what the hassel is with the music rips
personally i've never bought any music through itunes
bought some useful apps and fun games coz i'm over jailbreak
itune cards are handy and better than paying full price with credit card~
what do u mean over jailbreak?
feel like supporting software developers rather than downloading free apps?
I do both, what the original purpose of Jailbroken Apps were for - so you could test them out before you buy. If you want people to definately pay for your app, offer a lite version.
If the apps are exemplar (after I download them) I will pay for them through iTunes.
Look, there are crap apps and there are spectacular apps, I wasted $1 from some stupid app that let you see your skype credit.. that was the SOLE purpose of the app. With the skype app you could see that already, and that was free!
I test apps and then if I like them I buy them (I've bought BeejiveIM, fruitninja, tripview, doodlejump, angrybirds, ovenbreak) and jailbroke the rest (I really don't feel they're worth their price tag) or got them from faad.com
Why did you buy that app that let you see your skype credit?
So you're basically saying you'll pay for the app if you think it's worth the price, if not you will just keep it anyway.
@ozhunter: its like someone saying they will steal a car and if they like it they might buy it.
@ozhunter: If its not worth the price, I would delete the app.
All my apps are either from freeappaday or bought or free (the free ones, not JB) or trialing (1 or 2 apps at a time). If I like the app, I buy it, if I don't I delete.
haha coz i'm too lazy to download the updates when they are available..
still have jb on my ipod touch that i hardly use
but no more on iphone =)
with the frequent free apps, it't really not that bad
and apps are not that pricey considering all the other stuff we spend on..
You're forgetting about apps for iOS devices.
Sometimes it's just easier using iTunes for a song, like a remix of "sweet child o'mine" that I couldn't find elsewhere and I was happy to pay the cost for that track
Cool story bro! ;)
Move on dude
Cool story bro! ;)
Excellent deal! Just got me some cards!!!
Mod should block this user ip AND ban 4 life! :D
why bother. we all know torrents rule this universe known as the interweb
