  • Can't speak for the Micro USB ones, but have been using my 3x Blitzwolf cables for Iphone for about a year now, still going strong.

    • I can - I've been using the Ampcore Micro-USB cables for a couple of months to charge my Kindle and my headphones, and they have a nice firm "click" when you connect them, as well as thick cables.

Be aware that the Ampcore "grey" ones really are a steel-grey - I was expecting just short of black when I bought them.

  • Very good price if they perform similarly to these.

My best find last time were these at 4x the cost but 0.5m longer.

Bought two as more spares and backups will see how they perform.

    • Problem with Anker is the cost. The one you linked is ~5x the price of this for an extra 0.5m

      • Definitely, back then that was all I had. Amazon US and UK wasn't shipping to Australia. Crazy rort.

  • I have these cables in a shorter length (1m) and they are great. Feels very durable.

  • when ordering do people pay for tracking and insurance?

    • +2

I don't bother with it since tracking doesn't work in Australia. As for insurance, just raise it up with PayPal or PM through the rep on OzBargain.

  • I have been through dozens of usb cables and this is the best by far. Top quality and very durable

  • Yes!
Not the 1.8 I'm looking for but it'll do.

These cables are rubbish. I'd recommend Orico or AUKEY cables. Banggood warranty isn't worth anything. They refuse to replace faulty cables.

agreed. Ive had the same experience with Blitzwolf but the reversible cable which is more fragile I guess. havent been able to get Banggood to replace under warranty as well.

    • Banggood and blitzwolf were very good to me. Bought a 2.5m usb c cable which wouldn't data transfer or fast charge.

Banggood asked what the problem was and for a few photos, I then got transferred to blitzwolf who replaced and paid for postage for a new cable.

      Can't fault their service personally

      • My cable was advertised with with 18 months warranty on their product page. If you ask for replacement after 12 months, you will get the following response from Banggood. I'll follow up directly with Blitzwolf instead, even though its probably not worth it for a $6 cable.

        Response from Banggood -

"We could not give you a refund or send it to you again, because it is broken after you have used for more than one year."

    • My Blitzwolf lightning cable didn't work out of the box. I described the issue with a photo for proof and they had a new one on the way within 2 days.

Found a better price, also very good quality from the guys feedback: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/2M-3M-METER-Braided-Micro-USB-DAT…?

    • +1

The only unbranded cables that I will buy will be the ones I build myself :P Its far better to get a branded chinese one than a generic one. It will last a little longer.

      • Theyre probably made in the same factory tho ahha

        • perhaps, but even though items could be made in the same factory, it could be made at different quality levels built to a certain price. I wouldnt be surprised if no named cables are made on the front desk of a seller agent during their spare time though. I've seen seller agents do that at SEG electronics market in Shenzhen for RF pigtail cables, but on the other hand they could be easier to make.

        • @darkage: fair enough

  • Thanks, i've been waiting for this.

  • Great quality cable, pity I need USB-C nowadays. I have 3 of these for USB-C and they're great but I could use a longer cable.

  • $8.40??
    expired?

  • Got mine today. Thanks.
