Price are declining, something to do with the mechanics of mining etherium, ie. costs a lot more in time and power usage, and i think at the same time, etherium currency price has also been hit, saw a piece on Paul's Hardware, but I don't fully understand how it all works, it just sounds like due to this people are suspending / abandoning mining. Interesting, if so, prices of these cards will drop fast.

Mechanics of mining is difficultly goes up and you will never see ROI. Dont rely on those online calculators if they don't factor in difficulty increase as profit will decline and just gradually get eaten up by power usage.
Exactly what happened I believe a few days ago. Basically bottom line, the dynamics for mining took a huge turn for the worse, perhaps only short term blimp, but in this game, you gotta cut your loses quick and move on, and maybe the retailers want to move whatever stock they have. Just my thoughts… who knows, come next week and this craze could be on a tear again.
