        I ended up with about 6 bottles of wine ( all open but at least 3/4 full) bread, cheese, dips just have to ask for it

      LOT's of free wine samples, although obviously if you want to try $100 + bottle it will cost you.
      Beer was 50/50 with free samples, alot would ask for $2 to $5 to sample there beers.

    This place is a cesspool of despair. The areas around the 'free wine' vendors are horribly crowded by people that shouldn't be getting on the juice. Pro-tip - stay down the opposite end to the wine area.

      I think they tried it one or two years. Would have loved to have gone. I've been to the Perth, Sydney and Melbourne shows. Melbourne is by far the best.
