        While I agree that you can get a special gimbal just for GoPro - this one seems to be more versatile, IMHO. You can use it both with your phone AND with your GoPro (with the additional adapter though)

      I've been looking for a decent one for BMPCC, but they're all pretty shite - way too much bobbing. It's "smooth" but it very much has a signature movement about it, like an ocean float.

      So I've resigned to looking for a Ronin M. Hefty, expensive, but no handheld gimbal I've seen can cut it for DSLR.

        As edfoo mentioned here, check the Zhiyun one for DSLRs. It's pricey, but very smooth and used by many vloggers.
