eBay Seller Fees Promotional Offer Warning

Hey guys,
Just a warning that you guys should always check your eBay selling fees statement/ invoice (mainly if you take up a promotional offer).

Got an email from eBay telling me i have an offer where i dont have to pay any fees on any items i list between 27/06/17 - 06/07/17.
I sold the item on the 3/07 and just happened to check my fees statement (i never usually do) and noticed i was charged $6 final value fees for it.
Contacted eBay through their chat and they had a look and they credited the difference and made out like it was already done, when i asked why it wasn't applied automatically they blamed 'some technical issue'.

So yeah, double check your invoice if you take up one of these offers, i will be from now on..

    Thanks for the heads up, I suspect this is going to happen for one of my items. I listed two items within an hour of each other but in the promotional offers section it says only 1 used of 10 and only the first item I listed appears to have had the promotion applied to it.

    Wow thanks shapers, just read this and my free fees didn't kick in either, thankfully I took a screenshot at the time of the offer and I'll use this to get credit.

      Shame there isnt a way to broadcast this to the wider eBay public as obviously its not a one off!!

        Managed to get onto eBay support, I posted a multi stock listing which was against T&C's but after a bit of hassling they budged and credited me :)

    I've had this before but apparently the promotion that I entered into (maybe last year?) was that the fees would be reimbursed within 2 months and that is why they were showing.
    I waited and sure enough the fees were credited.

    I haven't done any recently though.
