Hi all,

Footlocker in Brandsmart is having a 50% storewide sale. Managed to grab hold of the mens ASICS GT2150 for $105 (ticketed price was $210!). The reason why posted this one as they have been having this sale for a few weeks now. I managed to grab a pair of female Kayano few weeks ago for a work mate for $135! At the time I thought it was only a weekend 'special' storewide sale. To my surprise went there today and they've got more fresh stock!

I was told by the staff that the 50% off storewide is only at their store as they are a factory outlet, and was also told that their 50% storewide is here to stay untill their management tells them otherwise.

I've only listed a couple of examples, but sure there's more goodies for those who are looking for sports stuff (esp runners). But if unsure you should be able to call up to see if they've got other models/sizes that you are looking for first.

HINT: The salesperson also said they get new stock in every couple of weeks (generally on Mondays) and takes them a day or two to refresh the retail store.

(I think they storewide 50% sale does not include socks! oh bugga!)

Anyway, I generally buy overseas on ebay and this pair works out to be about the same, but with local warranty and local retail shop. So no brainer for me this time. Still got a couple of months left on my current 2140 but with this price, always good to stockup)

      For shoes definitely. But for ACIS specific, not really. Few wks ago they had the womens model, this time around they had the mens GT2150 and the Kayano16 (but only in size 10 and 11). They also have adidas and nike and the usual stuff, but not as diverse as their retail shops. Hope this helps.

    Why are these shoes so overpriced here? You can buy them from the US on ebay for about 40-70 delivered.

      GT2150 brand new delivered from the US for $40-$70? Wow! Thats definitely a bargain. Can you please post the link of these sites (ebay sellers)? Thanks.

      I call BS…full on BS
      It costs at least $30 for delivery from the US Ebay seller for a pair of shoes.
      US postage is crap as hell!
      So it is hardly believable you can buy these shoes in Australia from a US Ebay seller for $10 plus the $30 postage for all up $40……….

      its for real man. when your a runner or need some football boots and your paying well over 100 bux for a pair of shoes, you want them to last. if they fall apart quickly you just take em back and say look at this! gimme a new set.

        the last pair of nike i bought was at the main Nike Melbourne, swanston-bourke, a few months later the sole came off, i didn't think Nike would bother to replace that LMAO, but anyway there's a reason why it became T-Life shop now :)

    If you know what size you need, I recommend Wiggle.co.uk.
    They have free shipping if you order over $80 of stuff (ships from the UK) and their shoes are pretty cheap. I have ordered from them a couple times before and got the stuff around 7-10 days later.
    Examples: Asics 2150 = $91 delivered (womens $115, don't know why)
    Asics Kayano = $153 delivered
    Click on the right side where it has 'currency' and 'destination' and change these to Australia to see the correct prices.
    NB Sizes listed are UK.

    remember seen them on the sportsmart sales few month ago for around $80. same with the NB range.
