OzPissPots!wernt these green label bottles selling for heaps when they got discontinued? hate to be one of those suckers that paid a premium..
That was an initial bottling. This is the re-release. Apparently similar but not the same. I wasn't that impressed with either tbh.
Johnnie Walker is blended whisky and when they change the flavour/blending they usually say they will discontinue.
They did that to Green label a couple of years ago.
It was quite well known and preferred by many drinkers that Green tasted better than Gold while cheaper.This 'new' Green label no longer tastes the same as the old.
You can find information online regarding Red label being better many-many years ago.
