Been a member of product review for awhile and have recently notice the banner, complete 4 reviews get a $20 coles giftcard. I don't think this is targeted. Doesn't seem to be anything to stop you using multiple accounts and emails. (Note: I just completed today, says I will receive card at end of month)

All four reviews must belong to one of the categories mentioned above in order to be eligible for this promotion.

  • You may be required to provide proof of purchase for the reviewed products.
  • Please be detailed in your review! Your contribution will help thousands of consumers to be more informed in purchasing these products.
  • Each individual member is eligible to receive one gift card for the duration of this promotion. Gift cards are not stackable unless otherwise specified.
  • You will not immediately receive the gift card. Gift cards are sent out at the end of each month.
  • This promotion is open to residents of Australia only. Any reviews written by members outside of Australia will not be eligible for a reward.

      Your review/s may have to be manually checked by us before being published. If you submitted a review for an item that is not currently listed, it will have to be manually checked as well. If they're not approved in a day or two, email us [email protected]

      Please note that Coles Gift Cards are not sent immediately after the review. They are sent at the start of the following month. This is to allow time for your review to be processed and approved by the Moderation Team in enabling your review to be eligible for this promotion.
      Should you not have received your gift card six (6) weeks after submitting your review, and you believe it is an eligible review, please let us know.

    Just got my fifth review approved and my $20 voucher will be mailed to me.

    Going to wait until Connoisseur is on special, should be able to get about 4 tubs with that.

        All my reviews are genuine, would have actually taken more of an effort to write dodgy ones.

  • Great initiative, completed the reviews feels good to to give something back to a community I have called on a few times for honest feedback. Personally I don't like the proof of purchase option though, most tax invoices have my personal details and for $20 I think asking people to go running around the house to take photos, in addition to the time it takes to write the reviews is asking a bit much.

    I might have faked a couple to get through, but I have 'genuinely' bought none of these products.
    Me thinks there are 7000+ people here enticed into fake reviews. Genuinely. Unless you're all super consumers.

  • Dear rep, I have written 4 reviews (all highly rated and acclaimed) from 2016-2017, only got the $5 coles gift card but never a $20 one. Shouldn't I be eligible for one.

    The review with an uploaded a proof of purchase I did yesterday is still pending or being analysed by the mod team. But strangely enough, the one without was immediately published!

  • OK, so I have done 4 reviews
    - 2 'new' products you did not have - both with proof of purchase within 12 months - both in qualifying categories
    - 1 washing machine review - proof of purchase within 12 months
    - 1 review for a product outside the 12 months, still sold - it only had one other review so I thought mine would be useful for how the product has fared 'over time' - in qualifying category

    Tracking down proof of purchase was very time consuming.

    Hopefully that qualifies. Otherwise I might get a bit dark, it takes a while to write a 'well considered' review!

    I've done 4 reviews for items in the required categories, and they've all been published, however it still says I need to do 2 more reviews to get the gift card…

    Edit: My fifth review for a phone got published, but it still says I need to write 2 more reviews…

    i have written 4 reviews for the categories listed, but still says I have to write one more review, but I dont have any more purchases that fit those categories :(

          The gift cards have just been sent out (11:45am 01/08/2017). If you are having problems with your link, or you believe you should have received a card but did not, please email [email protected] and let us know the email address your account is registered under so we can look into it for you.

          Since we send out gift cards in monthly cycles, we needed to wait for any reviews submitted up until midnight on the 31st to be included.

  • I received the voucher email and get "something went wrong" when trying to redeem???? I emailed the email listed by all that does is spam back a FAQs link? Anyone else have this issue?

      I'm not sure why we wouldn't have received your email, I've responded to everything I've had come through to me regarding the gift cards.
      Can you try opening the link in an incognito/private window? This may fix the problem, otherwise email either [email protected] or [email protected] and we'll get back to you

    I have 4 reviews showing as published but it tells me on profile to complete 2 more reviews to receive gift card. Still haven't received? Anyone able to help?

  • I am feeling less than confident about this mob. I did 4 reviews,and it asked for "one more", and now it is saying I just need to do one more…. Can't count very well, it appears.

      The algorithm for the counter includes reviews for items that are:
      - in the specified categories
      - not currently marked as 'discontinued' on our site

      Obviously the review has to be published as well. Please keep in mind that sometimes your review may be automatically published straight away, but can be temporarily suspended later once the Moderation Team has had time to manually check it. Your reviews do not always need to be verified unless requested, you should receive an email informing you of this if it happens.

      Please email us ([email protected]) if you feel we have made an error and someone will look into it for you.

  • I have the same issue - did 4 reviews and the system keeps asking you to submit 2 more in order to get the coles gift card.

    @store rep - I emailed to you guys - [email protected] 3 days ago with screenshots showing you 4 reviews had been done and approved. Until now, there's NO replies at all.

    • only reviews for items in certain categories count. i made the mistake on 1 item so had to do 5 in the end. double check your categories.

      We have received and responded to all of your emails, but from the messages we keep receiving it appears you aren't getting any of our replies.       • Oh well I did get a reply and it does not help either.

        "It looks like you reviewed some discontinued products, which aren't eligible to be included in your review count for this promotion. This is why you weren't automatically added by our algorithm to the gift card recipient list in July."

        I dont think they were discontinued when I wrote the reviews back in July. In anycase I am over this now. ProductReview is done as far as I am concerned.
