What are the best alternatives to netflix? Hulu, stan, Amazon prime, something else?
My Netflix got billed on the 30th so I have a month to decide. I can still afford it.
Do people use libraries? they are the way to go, alternatively you could start a new free trial or use torrents.
I'm not too impressed with the price rise, but I understand this is a government price rise - thanks indirect taxing.
I will never switch to Stan or Foxtel or any of those others, because they put their prices up at the same time without suffering the indirect tax hike.
That's rather illogical but OK. I hope you're more logical when it comes to voting because that's how you punish the people that caused the price increase.
Do not vote Liberal. If you voted Liberal last time then congrats, the party you voted in is screwing you and you should feel like an idiot.
And you think opposition party going to revoke this tax if they get in power? :) dream on! Every government love to tax people, where else they get their money from?
There only strategy is to gaining maximum votes by shifting the tax from one form to another.Huh? How is it illogical? I'm not going to any of the local providers because they took the opportunity to raise their prices when they didn't have to. They complained about how unfair it was that Netflix didn't pay GST - and won that argument - so when Netflix raised their prices they went on a profiteering spree at our expense.
I deliberately said it was a government price rise because it will not matter who is in power, this tax will not go away.
+1 this, speaking with you wallet72
Can't seem to find many new deals for new netflix accounts going around.
Bit annoyed that price rise isn't just the 10% - but oh well….I is got ta watch mah stories!
Reminds me of when GST originally came in and prices jumped more than 10%.
It was the catalyst, but the main reason is I ran out of content I wanted to watch.
Don't care, subscribed via Google play using Telstra credit. If that ever stops, I'll review then
Hey so currently i pay for Netflix through iTunes because they have more consistent discounts on gift cards than Google Play, but i was just wondering if the Netflix Packages cost anymore than the standard package?
I've been paying for Netflix via iTunes since forever..It's saved me a shit tonne of money….Every now and then itunes gift cards go on sale for up to 30% off…When t hat happens, your boy tops up $100 into his itunes account….BOOM! 30% off netflix.
Pfft… Only 30%? I stocked up on $200 worth here, and because I never used too much, I'm only down to my last 47c now. :)
holy shit! haha…..no way you still have any left from 11 years ago lol…..as in you got $400 for $200? or you stocked up $200 for $100?
i cant even fathom this lol….well played sir
haha, nope. The latter.
I've never used it for anything creative, only the odd app purchase, so yeh, did manage to get it to last :)
I've still got my full iTunes credit from 5 years ago that came with my laptop purchase. I don't see the point in spending it when everything I need is on Piratebay.
@nurries: alright alright….i'll take it! lol
Guessing you didn't take advantage of this deal?
