Technically you can, but you dont know if your offer will be accepted or not, or when it happens, could be after the discount code expires.

    Offers on eBay are legally binding; if the seller accepts a 'best offer', the item is marked as sold and the buyer must complete checkout.

      No problem, the code would still be valid at that point because you haven't withdrawn your offer (if you follow whooah1979's advice).

  Sorry I know this is a year old, but how do you do this? There's no field when you submit the offer, and I thought once it's accept by the seller the sale goes through automatically?

Coupon yes but I don't think cashrewards work on make an offer, anyone think has opinion on this?
