        If that K-Mart deal is not available anymore then his comment is irrelevant.

          Its actually your comment that has no merit.

          It is not necessary for the price to be available now.

          At least for some, its good to hear what prices WERE. So that we can make an informed purchase.

          E.g., if this was going for $199 at Bunnings a month ago when Bunnings was having a sale, then its good to know that. In that case, although Bunnings may no longer have it at $199, in light of this knowledge, some people may not buy this $299 and rather wait for around the $199 prices.

          So, there u go. His comments HAS MERIT and yours DONT.

    Provide proof or your comment has no merit. Is the jackeroo stainless steel, have side burner and cabinet doors?

    I think the aldi bbq is a good deal.

    And if it is no longer available at kmart this is currently the best deal. What's the point of posting past deals?

  K-Mart at Kotara does have Jackaroo 4 burner BBQs for $299 all year round. I just picked up a 6 burner with hood, with side burner and with cabinet doors for $399, and that was their regular price. So a deal that's available all year round has way more merit than the ALDI deal, and more merit than lo200 and lovedeals contributions combined.

  I've got the same BBQ from Aldi last year. All up its fantastic, though you really have to cook at the lowest setting possible or else it cooks the outside too fast (I guess thats a plus for rare\medium rare folks)

  Hardly ever use the side burner, though its nice to have it there and the meat warming tray is awesome

  One word of warning though, the bolts and screws on BBQ seem to have little anti rust protection on them. I ended up using Kill Rust on it and problem solved

  Yeah I got this one last year too. It's a sweet BBQ and it was cheap so it was an easy choice. As for the rust on the nuts and bolts, mines always covered so I haven't had that problem yet.

  I can't recommend it enough! Get one!
