yah i have tried other memory foam pillows before they are not that good.

Look out for deals on latex pillows. Generic ones around $50 , even cheaper on sale.
I got a Dunlop one and its around $100 mark but again could be found at 50% off sometiems

      • What use is a pillow that "dents in" when you put your head on it, and then STAYS dented in? LOL

        • you're obviously one of those that still uses round bouncy pillows.

        • i know ppl who use it for neck pains, sometimes its better when the pillow sorta fixes into ur necks shape… another thing is the height of the pillow affects the gender from what ive heard, females tend to have lower pillows while males tend to use high pillows in terms of elevation but yeah i guess this depends on the person, how they sleep and etc…

I purchased the memory foam Dunlopillow for about $80 on special, it felt very comfy just pushing my hand into to test it, so I was sold.

But when I tried it out at home it was alot harder on the old head than I expected, harder than my old latex Dunlopillow.

The best way I can describe it is that it felt like I was sleeping on a sack of flour!

It is now twisted and taunted out of shape and looks terrible on the bed when made and not to metion that it no longer fills the pillow case snugly, and I find that each night I have to turn it to get the pumped up side.

This is my experience with memory foam in general! I think it is over-rated!!

    • Yeah that dunlop memory foam is very dense, too dense for a pillow I reckon.

I have about 5 different ones, various prices up to a Sealy (Dunlop) $80 one. I've used them all on our Genuine 15cm Tempur bed.

Anyway, the cheap pillows are usually too soft and too thin, the expensive ones are too hard, but I have one cheapie that is just right - good density and thikness, trouble is I can't remember where I got it from!

  • So you guys are saying that latex is the way to go? I gu8es I'll have to get myself to a store and try for myself…which store do you guys recommend?

  • Latex pillows come on sale frequently, wait until the major stores have a sale and you'll save a packet! Check on Lasoo perhaps.
