I checked the target website and it seems to be unavailable online, but there's 6 in stock that are on store shelves over at Target Stocklands Wetherill Park, seems to be a good price for this.

Ages ago I bought one at my local store for the same price I think. It's basically a piece of plastic of limited value to me (you need to use your own AC adapter; none is included here).
I'd rather store the New 3DS safely in a storage case, not collecting dust (and not letting in dust in the headphone jack which faces directly upwards when in the dock). I'd rather charge in a storage case with the zip partly open when charging (via USB cable found on ebay, since Nintendo are too tight to offer one). I suppose if you frequently dock and undock, this can be convenient, but I hate dust and 'accidents'. You also can't play while charging, obviously.
It's not compatible with the XL models (there is a separate dock that is).
Yeah I'd be the same, I would have made the purchase if it came with a charger, I could do with a spare.
I have the same dock but for the XL and have found it really useful. I just bought a cheap USB to 3DS cable off eBay and have the dock connected to my desktop computer. It is always plugged in and charges without issues.
Awesome, finally at the price it should have been on release.
Won't fit some consoles if they have a cover on.
