From today Netflix is increasing the price of their plans, will it change how you use the service?
I downgraded from standard to basic this month, mainly because I hadn't stocked up on iTunes credit back when Kmart had 25%. Also having Netflix, Stan and Foxtel Now means that I don't need concurrent streams for each of the services as each person in my family can find something else to watch on another service.
I also noticed today that Stan has created a new Basic plan for $10 and increased the price for their Standard package to $12 for new subscriptions.
Netflix
Plan | Old Price | New Price | Streams | HD |
---|---|---|---|---|
Basic | $8.99 | $9.99 | 1 | SD |
Standard | $11.99 | $13.99 | 2 | HD |
Premium | $14.99 | $17.99 | 4 | UHD |
Stan
Plan | Price | Streams | HD |
---|---|---|---|
Basic | $10 | 1 | SD |
Standard | $12 | 3 | HD |
Premium | $15 | 4 | UHD |
looks like Stan wants to price match netflix..wait what?
