    It is against the law to sell or supply alcohol to or to obtain alcohol on behalf of a person under the age of 18 years.

    That is not strictly true.

    • +2

      I think you wanted to bold the strictly word.

      • -3

        not really, but it would have been better in hindsight…

    • +2

      Thanks jv. That's what's written our our license from the government, so we are playing it safe!

      • -2

        you can supply your kids with alcohol in your own home… No need for a license…

        • -1

          you can. it's against the law. all statements are correct.

        • -2

          @mit:

          it's against the law.

          Not it's not.

        • @mit:

          Actually no it's not against the law, depending on which state you are in.

          Laws pertaining to parental supply in private residences, public places and licensed venues vary between states. In some jurisdictions, it can be illegal to provide alcohol to young people on private property without parental permission. Parents may also be required to provide adequate supervision to young people consuming alcohol on their property.

      • State government I assume? Because liquor laws do vary state to state.

    Your website is nauseatingly painful to use.

    Can you get rid of the facebook style scroll down and wait, scroll down and wait… give up and leave.

    Cause that what I did.

    • Thanks for the feedback kevst.

  • Is that Noisy Minor Akbar available or not? You have had it listed for a while but shows no stock

    Hey OP, are there any normal sized cartons or non-4-packs? If they were 6-packs I would give 'em a go for the variety, but 4-packs are a bit pricey. Same with 16 bottle 'cartons'. I do really love new beers that I haven't seen anyway else though, so well done for the variety. Thanks for sharing, see you next meeting!

    Some constructive feedback.

    Prices with the discount are great and so is your collection.
    If I had a way of receiving the courier delivery I would definitely buy some Stone & Wood Pacific Ale and Chop Shop Pale Ale. Both brilliant.

    Would love to see some Boatrocker Pale Ale, Din Tai Fung used to have it not any more sadly.

    Now the problems:

    Whoever designed your website is terrible.

    One problem is the images on the shop page (https://www.ccliquor.com.au/shop/) are the same huge images you get on individual pages like https://www.ccliquor.com.au/product/4-pines-pale-ale-330ml-5…. So your shop page is essentially a hundred pages loading at once. No wonder it's slow.

    This is super basic web dev stuff. There is absolutely nothing on your website that should make it this slow. A competent web developer would tell you more specific stuff, I have been out of it for a while.

    • lol, some people still just can't fathom thumbnails can they? :)

    Do you guys repackage everything? If so why?
    The cases of stone and wood I bought directly from the brewery came in 4x 6 pack cartons…

    • Even Beer Cartel (http://www.beercartel.com.au/stone-wood-pacific-ale/) sell it as a 6 pack and a 24 carton.

      OP, please confirm, do you repackage?

      • If they actually copied everyone what is their point of difference?

        • Price!!

          @bricabrac89:

          I can fully understand the repacking, but I am not a fan. There is something magical about getting an actual manufacturers sealed box of a great beer, and their cartons. Like I recently got a carton of KBS. But seriously some beer manufacturers have rubbish quality cartons that are prone to damage. Also a lot of these places are unfortunately not geared to carton buys so they need to pack a variety of singles into a packing box. So it makes it standard procedure.

          Personally, I'd prefer that they double box the beer manufacturers carton, like some places do.

          @Mobe1969:

          …but I am not a fan….

          Neither am I. That's why I asked. Some beers on their site I know for a fact come in 6/24 from the brewery yet they only supply in 4/16.

          Personally, I'd prefer that they double box the beer manufacturers carton, like some places do.

        • @bricabrac89:

          Being higher in price?

  • Price with the discount are in line with other stores, not much of a deal sorry. You do have a good range though!

  • +1

    Well done guys. Although the website is slow, I still persevered.
    I like the 16 pk because I don't drink cases and allows me to get beer at case rate without 24. Will order again.

  • do you do pick up from your store in artarmon?
