    What bug?

it won't open the pod bay doors.

      • Beep boop. That's not a bug, that's a safety feature. The airlocks are sealed for your protection.

      • The doors should have Rysen.

  • intel have released a microcode fix so eventually it should appear in your updates

Skylake is out for approx 2 years now and I dont see anyone complaining about any random crashes. It is not a major issue. Your MB manufacturer will issue a new bios update soon.

    • not even that

i believe windows 10 will push o/s updates out that will fix this

for maths people like finance, analysis etc. just disable HT, its useless anyway

Yeah, malicious software usually randomly crashes things so you know you have it, virus writers are dumb like that. The fools!

Ah yes, this is a very serious bug that results in only a minuscule 5-10% performance increase for each new generation of Intel chips. The best way to deal with it is not pay a premium for marginal upgrades, Sandy Bridge still going strong ;)

    • I had to look mine up, it's a 'wolfdale' (E8400 2009 MSY build)

  • "Intel inside" ;-)
