Hi all, I was under the impression that a cancelled full price Business class trip (domestic) was refunded to the original payment method. Instead, we received a credit/coupon.
Is this right?

it also mentions refunds
"depending on your fare conditions"
I was under the impression that they refund to the original payment too.
But since you haven't specified the name of the airline for me to look at the relevant Terms and Conditions, I can only tell you that that's probably the first place you should be going to.
Ring Qantas on 13 13 13.
same thing happened to me, i had to call them twice in the last two weeks to get them to issue the refund

From what I could see on the site it depends on the fare type and any refund looks like it involves deductions for fees.
Thanks all.
I will try ringing them… Crazy 1.5 hr estimated wait time!!
When I booked, it said it should be refunded. Fingers crossed.
Haven't been at all impressed with Qantas recently, haven't flown with them since this time last year as a result. On my last trip I had a booked, confirmed Business class ticket and when I reached the airport they handed me an Economy ticket without even bothering to mention I had been bumped down! When I queried it (as Business still had plenty of seats) I was basically told to accept it or not fly. And it took them WEEKS to refund me the 'difference'.
Hope your experience is better than mine!
Far out. They're not sounding as good as they should
Just rang. Short wait time being late at night.
The guy was surprised to see it was not refunded, instead given as credit. Actioned it right away.
10 mins waiting on hold, 20 seconds talking.
What do the conditions annexed to your booking confirmation say?
According to the general commentary on their website, it seems to suggest you will receive a credit voucher.
The fare rules for Domestic Business only seem to make mention of credit vouchers, but note that terms and conditions on the confirmation should be referenced.
