Any recommendation of any Australian similar to the roles of Trey Gowdy or Jason Chaffetz

I was absolutely surprise to get to see them in action via youtube. They are the true heroes of a country/government, anybody who can point to me Australians that have similar role that would be awesome. I personally like the way Jason Chaffetz questions people.

Other than that….if you were to go to court case if you have commited/done something bad/crime (regardless of your title)…..just confess the truth they (govt)have everything …emails, telephone calls, people you know/contact.

Note: sadly he left his position, guess alot of powerful people doesn't like him

    Chaffetz sounds like a Barnaby Joyce or maybe even Corey Bernadi.
    Gowdy sounds like a Tony Abbott
    from my quick perusal of Wikipedia.

    What about either of them makes the heroes?
    Chaffetz appears to be happy bury his head in the sand to maintain the status quo, or increase protectionism and cronyism
    Gowdy at least appears to be trying I guess.

    Fighting for the misused of tax payers money? He looks pretty upset when he resigned…clearly shows someone who loves his job but loves his family more.

    Not what I expected but just that its pretty noisy for a serious place with people talking,cheering,objecting and laughing at the same time at the background.

    I think the Asian parliament is more interesting than Australia as they get into the boxing/fighting mode.

    Unfortunately the local non status quo politicians are somewhat flawed (Bernardi, Hanson).

    Don't know much about Chaffetz but Gowdy seems quite intelligent and is a good communicator.

      Both of them are intelligent, however Gowdy is more like a terminator on the loose and Chaffetz is more like the people's champion.
