  • Be aware only 390 lumens though…

    • Yep, that's fine for my requirements, just need some cool white for the kitchen.

got the 430 one in WW for $2-2.5 each, awhile ago though, some stores still had a few left overs last week

    • Yes I saw a heap of these at my local Woolworths - higher lumens and only $2.50 each globe

  • I have the cool white ones from Woolworths. They are very good. Brightness exceeds the supposed 460 lumens one from eBay (Chinese ones), and a far better spread of light (angle).

Does cool white make it look a bit clinical in your house? Like a hospital?

      • No, I actually find them fairly warm still. The cool-white ones I have been buying from China are close to 6000k, and therefore very white (approaching blue). By comparison, these Phillips ones are bordering on yellow (they are 4000k). Definitely not hospital-like.

  • Check the angle of the beam before you buy! May be 35 degrees or something narrow.

    • 60°
