I've got StackSocial (Getflix) lifetime account from one of ozbargain deals. That used to work but since last 4-5 months, with their vpn, nothing is downloading. It seems the ip's they use is blocked and nothing downloads as stuck in "Connecting". When you turn it off, everything starts working.
Anyone have same issue with StackSocial?
Is there any other VPN that anyone recommends that is cheap? Ideally those lifetime type deals. $40 a year is bit too much as I don't use it that often.

I haven't had troubles either - maybe give their helpdesk a bell and see if they can troubleshoot it before buying a new VPN

I think just the Sydney one, maybe the US one in the past as well - I can't remember at the moment
DO NOT get a lifetime Getflix subscription! You WILL NOT get access to all the same regions as monthly subscribers. Currently you only get 'United States 4' which never works! I understand they need to make money, but if you're not getting the full package with a lifetime subscription, and they aren't making this clear when you sign up, then they are engaging in misleading and deceptive conduct. Not cool!
I purchased the same lifetime deal and haven't had any issues. Perhaps have another look at your settings or re-install open vpn.
